 We have passed successfully the period of stagnation and have not lost the personnel potential and have kept the basic assets. The specialization of our plant has played the defined role – at the market of the large-capacity dock building of the Commonwealth of Independent States the Kherson State Plant «Pallada» does not have competitors, and there are not so many competitors in the world. It is interesting to note that during last years the same attempts were made to organize the production of floating reinforced concrete facilities at the normal shipbuilding plants. But all these attempts failed. Probably lack of unique experience, which Kherson State Plant «Pallada» has nowadays, and absence of trained personnel capable of difficult task solution produced such an effect. The experience and people of our plant give considerable advantages and possibility to create the complex floating and fixed facilities of reinforced concrete and composite construction, many of which are unique in the world practice of dock building.
