In addition to floating dock production with different lifting capacity and different functions, the plant mastered construction of reinforced-concrete pontoons, composite pontoons and other floating and stationary constructions. For manufacturing of these pontoons the sulphate-resisting portland cement is used and the hull is reinforced with reinforcing steel with diameter from 6 till 16 mm. The pontoons are assigned for building of floating hotels, restaurants, offices, sea and river floating and stationary births, breakwaters and other hydraulic constructions for protection banks and coasts from washing out in stormy conditions and other.

In connection with the prices raise for coast land, requirement and quantity of customers for such kind of production regularly grows. Developing business contracts with home and foreign firms, the plant manufactured and delivered to the Ukrainian, Russian, Bulgarian, Turkish companies about 40 items of such constructions.

In May 2008 a big floating hotel «Bakkara» for 428 passenger places was delivered to the place of location. It will be under management of transnational company «Kozirnaya karta», which owns more than 70 restaurants, clubs, and casino in Ukraine and other countries. The last from the five tiers of metal superstructure «Bakkara» will be assembled on the staff mooring place in Kiev, because it’s overall dimensions (length 139m., breadth 16,5 m.) and limited height of Dnieper bridge passages makes the towing of this construction impossible to the place of assembly. The plant runs negotiations with customers from Ukraine, Russia and countries of Persian Gulf about the building of series of similar floating hotels.

Kherson State Plant «Pallada» has already created and developed new construction projects and the negotiations with various building customers are in the process concerning:

• artificial island with the area about 2,5ga for oil and gas production on continental shelf;
• stationary and floating (including deepwater areas) breakwaters and other bank-protection constructions; the pile berths for ships and yachts;
• floating river fuel stations for small-size vessels;
• floating cottages for the recreational areas along the Dnieper banks and other rivers, lakes, estuaries and gulfs.

The plant offers to potential customers from Ukraine and Russia the building of the following objects:
stationary and floating sea deepwater , breakwater and berth complexes for the ports of Odessa, Sochi, Novorossiysk and Mariupol regions. For the Dnieper river and other European river basins we propose: construction of the floating fuel stations for the ferries and other small ships, the floating cottages, summer houses and other similar constructions.

The floating and stationary (including on piles) platforms for oil - gas exploring and extracting in the Black, Azov, Caspian seas coasts and also the artificial islands for oil and gas extracting on the north-eastern shelf of the Caspian sea.

Technological effectiveness and high level of adaption under customer requirements is the distinguishing point of the plant «Pallada» production. Manufactured in plant conditions, the huge pontoon blocks, from which one or another construction consists of, are brought to the full technical readiness. Meanwhile manufactured pontoon-blocks, breakwaters, berths and other constructions meet the requirements of Russian and Ukrainian Maritime Register of Shipping concerning floodability of these constructions during towing sea and river ways to the location of their installation. Its makes possible to minimize volume of work, performed in “field conditions”, significantly reduce the time and cost of building, provide high quality and warranty period of trouble-free operation of the construction designed.

In compliance with customer needs, Kherson State Plant «Pallada» plans to extend the assortment of its production and to find new fields of production application and new product markets.
